Government and Stakeholder Relations Coordinator, Canadian Federation of Agriculture
Catherine Burns is a government and stakeholder relations professional at the Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA). She joined the Canadian Federation of Agriculture in 2020 and has held various roles within the organization, from conducting policy research to organizing impactful events and conferences. Catherine holds degrees in Sociology (Trent University), and Communications (Carleton University). Today, her role allows her to exercise her passion, which is engaging with people. She’s an advocate for farmers and producers on domestic and international policy issues. A policy issue of particular interest is Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, where she is the project manager of the CFA’s Engaging and Advancing Women in Agriculture Project.
