Executive Director at the Fédération des Agricultrices du Québec (Quebec Federation of Farm Women), France De Montigny, has overseen the organization for over a decade. Created in 1987, the Fédération des Agricultrices du Québec is a union representing all women farmers. During this time, she has created and implemented various programs to support women farmers in their entrepreneurial endeavors and facilitate access of their decision-making across different agricultural organizations.
With a bachelor’s degree in biology and a specialization in ecology, Mrs. De Montigny, has used her knowledge and skills to develop various social economy initiatives in the food security sector in the city of Montreal. She has also worked in areas to create environmental awareness and combat climate change.
