Michael’s interests in agriculture and economics make a perfect pairing in his role as BRM Manager at CCGA. Michael grew up on a grain farm in southern Alberta and spent time farming before pursuing a degree in Agricultural Economics at the University of Lethbridge.
Michael worked as an agricultural economist for Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada focusing on BRM program development. After 13 years with AAFC, he joined Alberta’s Agricultural Financial Services Corporation where he participated in various multi-level working groups that focused on the design and delivery of BRM programming.
Michael and his wife live in Edmonton, close to their three adult children.
