Dean grows canola, wheat, barley, lentils, and flax on his grain farm in west central Saskatchewan, near Kindersley. He also operates a service company that provides land maintenance to the region’s oil companies.
Dean holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is an active member of local community where he and his family live. Dean sits on several local, regional and national councils and boards including the Rural Municipality, Synergy Credit Union, SaskCanola, and Canadian Canola Growers Association.
