Dr. Craig Drury
Soil Biochemist, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada
Dr. Drury is a Soil Biochemist with Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada in Harrow, Ontario and his research focuses on developing soil and crop management practices which improves environmental quality while enhancing crop productivity. He has served as President of Canadian Society of Soil Science, Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Soil Science and as an editorial board member for the journal Agricultural Ecosystems & Environment. Dr. Drury is a member of the Special Graduate Faculty of the University of Guelph and in this capacity serves on graduate student committees and co-operative research projects.
Dr. Drury is the Canadian representative on the Global Research Alliance as well as the lead for the Canadian Reactive Nitrogen Indicator. He also serves as a lead for the bioproducts research project involving sustainable corn stover harvesting practices for cellulosic biofuel production.
Dr. Drury was elected Fellow of Canadian Society of Soil Science in 2013 and he has published 180 papers in peer-reviewed journals as well as 19 book chapters and review articles.
