Dr. Claudia Wagner-Riddle
Professor, School of Environmental Sciences, University of Guelph
Dr. Wagner-Riddle was born and grew up in Brazil where she completed her first two degrees in agronomic engineering at the ESALQ, University of São Paulo. When working at a research institute as an agrometeorologist she had the opportunity to visit the University of Guelph campus. Her short visit inspired her to pursue her PhD in the Department of Land Resource Science (now School of Environmental Sciences, SES), where she has stayed ever since. She has been a faculty member since 1994 and enjoys all aspects of her work: teaching, research and contributing to her scientific community.
Dr. Wagner-Riddle is Associate Editor of Agricultural and Forest Meteorology as well as the Journal of Environmental Quality.
